Priority Categories for Express Entry
You will receive more points if your profile fits in a priority category such as having high French language proficiency or working in a job that is in high demand in Canada. Having a job offer from a Canadian employer or owning a business in Canada can also give you more points. Many candidates begin their immigration strategy by studying in Canada and later gaining Canadian work experience and finally having enough points to apply for permanent residency through Express Entry.
